We Started The Adventure

It's official! We no longer have a land residence! Our home is now the S/V Candid.

She's a bit on the small side, but the watwrs we'll be sailing are great for a small, shallow draft boat.

We trailered her to Florida, arriving safely. We'll rig her in the next couple days, and get her afloat.

Congrats!

I, too, hope to be out there soon! For me, next April or May is my cast off date. I hope to read all about your adventure and how your transition goes from agendas and schedules to sunsets and tides.

Ciao!

Congratulations Tom... should be a great adventure...
Whats the plan.. explore an area then trail on down to another State... or sell the wheels and trailer then go for broke...
Enjoy..

We also lived aboard and cruised on a small sailboat for several years. What I found was helpful was to get some boxes that Xerox paper comes in. We kept clothes and and food in them. They are all the same size and stackable. Makes it easier to shuffle stuff around.
Have a blast!
