Congratulations!

I’m sure you’re aware of the Westerly Owners' Association.

Re: We did it!!!

Brilliant

and for those who missed the beginning of the "voyage":-

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ice-87512.html

IIRC plenty of naysayers over on the UK forum (YBW.com) thread (I can't check at the moment I seem to have got me 5th lifetime ban ).......but if anyone from the UK is Googling past about Vendor Financing, then the lesson is "don't ask - don't get" . (for our North American readers, in the UK Vendor Financing is as strange and puzzling a concept as asking for a go on the Vendor's wife ).

Re: We did it!!!

Many thanks for all the congratulations. The first sailing adventure has already started, presently moored in Padstow after battling the rough for 18 hours.

Just awaiting some crew to come help get further round UK as weather not too great presently. Previous owner has kindly offered to help with some seasoned old saltys.

Thanks for the Westerly Owners Association tip, previous owner was a member and I will be joining as soon as I get back to home port.

Many thanks to you too Dave, for your help and optimism. Hope we sail by one day.

Best wishes ... Fizz
