python on a boat is nothing..btdt.. if was a poisonous sea snake i can see the uproar.. sorry no sympathy. this happens. get a forked stick and remove to a tree.
check all lines for nope ropes after storms.. friends happen.

There is a story of a guy in India who had had a few to many and fell asleep under a tree.. he woke up to find a python had swallowed one of his legs and was up to near his crotch..
They got the snake off but part of the leg was badly scarred, presumably by digestive juices.
This was back in the 80's..
