Travelling map on your wordpress blog: which plugin?

Hi everyone,

I am using wordpress for my cruising blog on want to include a Map with current positions as well as my past route.
The nicest plugin for wordpress seems to be nomad world map - but it only recognizes cities and cannot user lat/long as a position; so pretty useless.

Has anyone recommendations for a better wordpress plugin?

I also am looking for a map pluggin for a WordPress Blog. I see there are many listed on the WP site. Does anyone have a favorite they recommend? My requirements for the map:
1. Display an interactive map showing my current location.
2. Be able to zoom in and out.
3. Be able to update the position easily. Maybe send an email to some address? I could also make an API call if needed from my OpenCPN/RPi system.
4. (Nice to have) Be able to organize my track into segments a viewer can 'Select All Tracks' or select one named track. Or maybe tracks in a date range.
5. (Nice to have) Be able to attach some text to a GPS coord. Boat speed, maybe a link to a photo or a blog post.

I do have programming skills (or at least I did at one time...) but I don't want to spend weeks learning and customizing something.
