You're obviously of a much younger generation. Why bother sailing or camping for that matter if you cannot do without the trappings of home? Electronic noise gizmos are ok if that is what keeps your simple mind happy. Just don't play it in any anchorage or marina within MY earshot or I'll be tempted to put a shot across your bow ... maybe even through it; and if you own a Cat, make that plural.
For the past 50 plus years, I have loved sailing for the peace and serenity of nature itself; I want only to hear wind and waves, the lap of the water against the hull and the call of the sea birds ... I extend that even to the gulls. If you want 'noise' ... stay ashore. The only music acceptable aboard boat is either a button accordion or Harmonica. Don't bother with anything else ... especially electronic noise. It's pure garbage and an irritant.

Just to set the record straight: The guy was called Gutenberg and invented the placeable letters.

Considerable doubt exists about that. Seems the most one can say is that Gutenberg invented or refined a practical way of using metal moveable type to print text using the Latin alphabet.
If you're keen, look for a Canada/Republic Korea documentary called "Dancing with Jikji".
Story goes that a Buddhist temple in Korea printed religious texts with moveable metal type in 1377 (nigh on 80 years before Gutenberg). One text is called by the abbreviated title 'Jikji'. The only copy of volume 2 of that 1377 edition is in the National Library of France (should you be lucky enough to get to see it). Some Roman Catholic missionaries were in China and Korea. And they might have thought that this was a neat way to produce Catholic religious missives. Supposed to be letters, perhaps in the Vatican library, about technological transfer of moveable metal type to Europe. And a few attempts in Europe to do so. Until Gutenberg accomplishes the job (but funny how he perfected it in one or two trials, no? and did it so quickly, unlike say the struggles of the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison etc etc).
We all know the story about who writes history, no?

Re: Top Items on board
You can read the Wikipedia article about Jikji at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jikji
And you can see digitised images of the only remaining copy of Volume 2 of that 1377 first edition of Jikji at: 백운화ìƒì´ˆë¡ë¶ˆì¡°ì§ì§€ì‹¬ì²´ìš”ì*ˆ. 白雲和尙抄錄佛祖直指心體è¦ç¯€ | Gallica
*** late addition: the funny stuff above is just Korean hangul being distorted by your browser. The URL I provided is from the Library National France aka bnf.fr. Really/
For all that, I think I would have to nominate fast internet access as perhaps my top item on board that makes Led Myne a home.
I'm looking forward to 5G and would be quite happy using Huawei equipment.
Everyone else monitors my data and metadata (shady agencies of the Australian govt, the US NSA, Cambridge Analytica, and so on) without my permission. I'm happy letting the Chinese, aliens, lizard overlords, etc have their share too.

But the fast internet access is nothing without my laptop PC, right? And the PC and its software does navigation work and more without the fast internet.
So top item has to be the PC.
Here's the title page of that second volume of the 1377 first edition of Jikji:
