We had a fish called a croaker that made loud croaking sounds when mating. There were bunches of them that hung under our boat in what I could only picture as a singles bar for fish. We actually caught one while anchored in Catalina (Cat) Harbor on the back side of Catalina Island. I lifted it up and held it and it croaked at me. It really made me reconsider eating fish if they were trying to communicate with me.



But it tastes good!

My concern so far in the Mar de Cortez, Baja California has been whales and sea lions sleeping on the surface. I do not want to hit one of Moby Dicks kin sleeping or otherwise.
