The Bikes (Two of them any way) are at the dealer for consignment sale. I'm holding the third one back because of the price of gas. I can still get to work and back at 1/2 the cost.

Re: The House is on the Market !

Congratulations Don! Just wanted to wish you a seamless and speedy transition. Chris and I are in a similar position...house has been on the market since Fall. He pm'ed you regarding our Westerly.

I am so sorry for your first wife's untimely death. That had to be extremely difficult. It is time for you to have some fun and live!

Wishing you the B-E-S-T!!!

Hi Don..... once again my attempt at humour comes back and bites me in the A$$....
Thats way more Drama than I wanted.... I'm sorry to hear such sad news...
My best wishes for a smooth transition....

I was thinking more along the lines of an accidently punctured dinghy and someone rowing like crazy as the air goes down in a effort to reach the dock before a (safe) dunking.... or... ahh..forget it..

That's LAST wife. I'm beyond the age where a frilly skirt is going to put me through that again. The 38 wonderful years was defiantly upset by one bad year.

Re: The House is on the Market !

I'm glad to hear the dark days are over and hope clear skies and fair finds are ahead, but should you puncture the dinghy and row maddly to shore resulting in a dunking please do tell us about it

Biking and sailing are a good fit. I find pulling on sheets and rowing to marvelous excercise but biking, when the weather's nice, really completes the triumvirate of sore muscles.

You don't open a can if you don't know what's in it, except at the dollar store.

Don..... thats a sailors lot.... wait a while and see... disintegrating labels are a constant on boats and a few crossings in the past have ended up 'Pot Luck'...
Later in life I started peeling of the labels and writing the contents in indelible marker.... tho' even thats not fool proof...
