The Catalina/ Morgan 440 as a live aboard for 2

We (the 2 of us) have a 2006 Catalina/ Morgan 440 DS but also looking at a 1997 Passport cc -- Our plan is to live aboard for 2 to 5 years ME to FL and over to the Bahamas every couple of years

It doesn't look like you got any responses to your original post. I'm wondering what you decided. i am looking at a Catalina Morgan 45 CC but can't find any info on her sailing qualities. I was wondering if you had any ideas.
