Re: Sv sarean

A few of them appear to have abandoned the “cruising” life when they could no longer cruise and tired of being holed up in one country due to travel restrictions. Kind of hard to entice viewers and derive income when the background changes are barely noticeable. It is the dramatic changes in venue which keeps interest high.

No, but they are one of the few I watch. Partly for their style, and partly because they are focussed on places I'll be going "any day now"

Re: Sv sarean

I ask the same question for the same reason, according to AIS last known speed & Course was 4.2 knots, 105 deg from near Whitsunday island, Qld. Nov 14 2020. I asked a question to VMR Whitsunday but haven't heard anything. Not all sailors report to them. Heading East from a non clearance Port and during cyclone season bit odd.

Re: Sv sarean

hard for me to understand the accent.. but (in the last youtube video) didn't she state she was returning to ozland(?) to help out her mum,,?

mum was only 80 years old.. and meg(?) seems to be the type to keep her focus on the "here and now"...

so it would not be out of character for her(them) to stop the sailing stuff cold turkey if their attention was needed elsewhere.

just a guess

Re: Sv sarean

I went past the Sareen on its mooring a few months ago, lots of things turning green and cob webs indicating lack of use.
