Summer on US East Coast

Due to current circumstances, we are looking at staying on the US east coast all summer then go back south to Carribean in the winter. One thing I’m nervous about is hurricane season. If you are cruising along the southern and mid Atlantic states, how to do you go about finding a slip or haul it if there is threat of tropical storm or hurricane, we have a catamaran so beam is always a limitation.

Another limitation to consider will be your vertical clearance. There are many "hurricane hole" protected areas or locations close to a safe hide-out during a threat. I could list a number of options, but to limit this to those suitable for your vessel, it would be best to know your clearance for passing under fixed bridges and cables. 'probably not a draft restriction with your catamaran, but give us that too.
