Stolen Outboards - possible solution?

Has anyone tried using Apple AirTags to track their outboard motor? It looks like an idea solution, it is small self powered and cheap . My guess is that you will need to locate the outboard quickly before the perps discover it.

Have you had a problem with your outboard motors being stolen?
