Re: Size of water maker needed/recommended for 2 living cruising full time.

We also have the aquabase 60l/hr and its more than enough for us. I think this is what Uchimata will fit for the helia. It's very automated, just press a button for run, stop and flush. It's also very efficient using just 22Amps. We also run it when our batteries are almost full and the solar is putting in amps. It also gives us 'free water' with no drop in Amps going into the batteries. Factory support is very good. We run it for a few hours every few days, usually from around 1400-1600 when the batteries are showing 100% and acceptance has dropped to 10A
It's not quite as efficient as a spectra, but it's difficult/expensive to have a spectra fitted in France.
It's very quiet as well.

I'm amazed and impressed with your watermaker history. I'm in process of installing a Catalina with the MPC3000 and Zbrane. Our panels are 640W and our batteries are 1200AH, both being the labled ratings, not real world.
