Huge timesaver, especially with a microwave but even without.
I use pressure cookers and do the same thing on the boat, weather permitting, and at the ranch (off the grid). Using propane to heat has worked well for me. Any type of heating with electricity uses a lot of power. Have a nice day.

Well, that's a different kind of kinky. Who knew this was a thing?! Would be curious how that works as an online dating profile -- it sounds unique, right?. I certainly believe there's someone for everyone, if a relationship is what they want. Just gotta keep on looking

I think my "someone" died. SHRUG At least I didn't have to pay for her funeral.

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

Life is strange. Im going to HK in March and 3 women I know from the past have decided to meet up with me again! 2 Filipina and one Chinese. All still single.

Time has moved and our ages have all moved, but will be nice to see see them.

Memories are what we are left with. Im glad that our relationships in the past were kind and uncomplicated.

Maybe you should start a new thread. Although I bet even THAT would somehow provoke controversy!

That is a nice reflection on both you and the ladies.

But be careful, lurking underneath is this big catfish called "what-if", that can swallow you whole.

I have had similar reunion with loving relationships of the past, that had parted amicably after they realized I wasn't the white picket fence type and our career interests would not harmonize.

Ironically most never married and years later they would initiate a reunion to rekindle a platonic friendship.

What I found from meeting these now succesful women, was an underlying urge on their part to rekindle past strong feelings.
To recapture a time of youthful uncomplicated emotions with someone they once admired and loved.

Time and reflection had somehow elevated thier perception of me to...
"the one that got away"..

It was interesting.... but tread carefully as their may be stong feelings lurking!

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

The OP's intent when he titled this Thread....."an Honest Look", got me wondering what that means?

Can we ever "honestly" look at anything, or is it our social history and conditioning that is doing the Looking?

For me there is one that I cared for deeply. It was me who ended what might have been to put her through college and follow her dream.

Yes,she is is half my age.

I expect nothing, and the passage of time has dimmed passion and expectation.

But I will enjoy seeing the woman again..

Life eh?

Hummm the Santa marketing thing I might have to try that..

I guess the single pole and bait needs to be changed to a wider net ...
Guess I will try it and see how that works.

I would have to say that this (CF) is not a good place for a single pole or wide net... what is the ratio here 1 single female to 500+ single males. LOL

I think I am married to my boat. Or maybe, I am divorced from my boat and I am providing support.
