...interestingly it is always the OTHER guy/girl that is at fault...
why does nobody blame him/herself for their poor choice of companion/spouse???
maybe a little introspection would help?
particularly people harping about their multiple "bad experiences", disappointments should question their choice of partners! we here in the "west" c h o o s e our partners...
maybe youall complaining about the "golddiggers" have put the emphasis too much on flashy looks???
...but what do I know after 40 happy years (& still going!) & 6-digit nm with the same woman...

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

I'm sure glad I'm already married. But, what's wrong with someone deciding they don't want to be married, or be in any kind of serious relationship. Why is one person's particular path to relationship happiness anyone else's concern?

And, if two people are together and happy, regardless of age, income disparity, or social status, why would anyone else care?

When I was last dating, I had one requirement, and only one. And, that was, someone who was fun to be with, (who made me laugh, and who wanted to cruise and see places and do things). But, it was amazing how many women (and, no doubt true for lots of men, too) just couldn't meet that simple prerequisite.

If you're unhappy with your life, what in the world would make you think anyone else would want to join in with you in it? Be happy right now. We'll all be dead soon enough.

Just my thoughts, on life and love.

My wife is tough, competent, intelligent, honest, curious, hard working, adventuresome (bonus, also happens to be stunningly beautiful). You sound of a similar ilk. Forget this thread and go where you can learn about boats. Suggest you start with my website. hundreds of articles on all facets specifically written for the newer boater.

If you can live with the consequences .... Go for it.

Haven't seen a single nude pic here.

Maybe you think bikinis are scandalous?

I'll be the first to admit that I look like I was 'rode hard and put up wet' but, most women my age can't make it from the dock to the boat and sure as hell don't want to do the everyday shared chores necessary.
Seems they are more interested in sitting in a comfortable deck chair on the sundeck, sipping ice tea.

Actually.. in retrospect I'm glad the Mod's removed it considering the grief I got for the video of me playing with my balls..
