Band B’s post was AMAZING!

Please give it some slack.

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

Just nature - isn't it?

1.) survival of the fittest
2.) selfishness
3.) competition
4.) cooperation to beat competition and survive
5.) there is no cumba ya, everybody is equal bla...

You are an individual, you are born alone and you'll die alone and in between it is your life. You make the best out of it and finally you make your decisions along the way, some are good, some are not.

Sexes exists to ensure fast variations in the next generation and competition do develop the fittest species for a given environment. Even our society is a complex try and error result of this processes and we all are part of it.

The differentiation is a good thing, we are not equal, everybody is different and this makes us stronger.

Just for kicks- Everyone should go back and read the first few pages of this thread again.

I miss 2hulls!

"I'm going to get myself a box truck to live in, travel the country, and pick up some GREAT women with that SWEET ride!"

Priceless.

Definitely long winded, not so good!

Found it rambling, full of Litotes and anything but objective.

Lost in the ether world of anti Trump hysteria.... as per this quote below, I never bothered to finish.

"Although it matters that Trump won the election unfairly, it shouldn’t*"...WTF!!

The most important thing we all learn as sailors/cruisers is;

On a small boat, you really need to get along as you depend on each other. ......Furthermore... you can't fake your own negative personality traits and just hope your crew mates accept you warts and all.

Far too much "exaggerating for effect" in all this discussion on sexual harassment....
ON BOTH SIDES!

You should read the thread with some sense of humor...

Of course there are always people out there that take this boy / girl stuff too serious.

ON BOTH SIDES!

I recall a wall plaque a secretary had at one company i used to call on.

It read:

Sexual harassment will not be reported but it will be graded out of 10"

and her follow up remark was " most attempts are pretty pathetic and not worthy of mention"

On the battle of the sexes my answer is who cares, i certainly don't and I don't wish to participate.

My response to critical remarks, is "I don't give a damn for the opinions of people who are not important to me, and damned few people are important to me" ( Politicians definitely aren't important to me, most are self serving conmen and scumbags+

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

Folks, you all are losing sight of the thread.
All I am looking for is a woman who wants to be part of a 2 person crew, knowledgable, appears beautiful to me, weighs no more than I do and upon a cold winter's night, warm in bed. Of course, we have to tolerate each other too.
IF a permanent relationship develops, fantastic. If not, and she wishes, I will be happy to return her to our starting point. SHRUG.

Wait.
What?
Who are you?
What happened the the guy, "2hullvenus", who actually started this thread about the catamaran project boat that was chasing away the hot girls, causing him to contemplate a life on the road in a box truck instead because hot girls dig box truck road trips more than catamaran cruises??

We all have our wants and desires, maybe they can all be met by this thread, given enough tolerance and diversity.
