Ha, ha, ha This should be a warning about being mindful of the burdens we might wish to take on! Just curious though, is a "similing" similar to a metaphor? I'm thinking..."your poetry is like falling into a toilet sometimes."

Apologies.. I thought that line had already been crossed so to speak and was exploring the reasoning possible or otherwise behind certain things.. a question had been posed.
But.. will stick to the sugar and spice.
Forget the puppy dogs tails..

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

Knowing 'what the limits are' was the latest direction this "honest look" thread took.

I ask this in a productive way Weavis....What are the limits of this thread?
Was my article on SM offensive?
Would a subtle discussion on 50 shades of Grey be Less so?

I honestly did not see any post that was sexually explicit.
Was any removed ?

I am honestly confused, not complaining!

1/. Its a cruising forum.
2/. Nobody went over the line.
3/. Our experience indicates someone would when the doors are opened.
4/. If in doubt refer to #1.

As for your last question...

I love to explore gender relationships... I dont think that we need to explore deep psychological sexual issues... thats personal and according to #1. not applicable on these hallowed pages...

Only just read the article Pelagic.. found it more interesting than the CNN waffle that'll never come to pass in real life bar the 'liberated few'.. its just the 60's hippie philosophy reborn.. a passing fad before the old hang-ups resurface with age.

Re: Single Men Living Aboard and Cruising... an honest look.

This is for women.

What is the most attractive trait about a man?

One of my business partners works as a software developer at Stanford University in the States.

He and I discussed this matter according to the latest research there and Im intrigued as to whether it is ratified here on CF.

Sense of humor.

That ability includes skills in humility, compassion, intuition, and intelligence. Any man that can create a genuine smile or laughter, no matter the circumstances, automatically gets a high score.

Oh, also, a sense of humor usually conveys a strong knowledge of human nature in general and the ability to laugh off and forgive our human tendencies and foibles.

How about sarcasm? The kind which contributes to laughter & humor that is. But I guess it only works with a woman who understands what it is and how it's intended. Usually requires not taking oneself too seriously. Mixed results with that one . . . .

As a sufferer of the above qualities, I would be proud to say correct.

Unfortunately, Researchers dont agree....

Always heard it was a man's willingness to make & deliver coffee first thing in the morning, if not coffee in bed.

Oops sorry, that may be a tad sarcastic.
