Sea Dreaming, It depends on where you are at, how hungry you are, and if the forestry rangers are looking. They might even think you did it on purpose. If I remember correctly, in Colorado they would fine you if you hit a deer. It was difficult to deny it with the whole front end of your vehicle smashed in.
I hope things are going well with that mess of your truck and documents stolen? It can sure complicate things in a hurry.

Ay mi cielo (I love how Spanish roles off the tongue, as opposed to Bugga, which I'm still trying to figure out), but why be dour if one likes salty porridge? At least with that mindset, it suggests there's a little dusting with the shaker going on despite the possible wrath, right? My grandmother used to say she was saving her happiness for when she would be with her God, and my mother who is in her mid80s now fears the idea of spending "eternity" with her nutty mother. Ay mi cielo. Sin is an artificial construct and it amazes me how many twisted ways we invoke the fear of God to keep people from the things that truly make them happy, which is a sin in itself. Fear can be an artificial construct, too. You can argue (and I'd agree) that fear is real when there's a gun pointed at your head, but many people are fearful about things that will never come to pass their whole lives. Some try to mitigate that fear, such as keeping size 12 boots outside their companionway, and if that helps, then a more higher power to them. And if people want to spend their lives without a companion, then what exactly is that big deal? It doesn't work for everyone (and it doesn't work for me either), yet we judge and suggest it might be better to be dead, or believe them to be dour in the heart and missing out on happiness. Might I suggest they're just being themselves...? A person who chooses to live their life in their own way and doesn't do harm to another is the epitome of a genuine human being. Bugga that.

You think that is a problem!? In Mexico, if you refer to a woman being "guapa", it means she is very attractive. In Puerto Rico it means she is a prostitute. In Mexico if you ask the waitress for some "papaya", she will bring you a fruit. In Cuba it means a woman's private parts. Talk about being careful about your choice of words!
It is disconcerting how easily a conversation can turn ugly, when you think you are speaking the same language, and it turns out the same word has different meaning or connotation.
It seems to happen quite often here on the forum. People interpret what you said differently than what you intended and take offence. Clarification seems to constantly be needed.
