SF Bay marinas with liveaboards

If you don't mind the 10 hours of howling wind every
day from April through mid September you might like the lower rates and great folks living aboard at Oyster Cove Marina. We docked there many years and except for the wind we loved the place.

I have had my name in at Brickyard cove for a few months. Know telling when a liveaboard slip will become available. I might try some of the ideas here though.

There are several round-trip ferries daily between Vallejo and San Francisco. The ferry is a five-minute walk from the marina, and the bus center connecting with many local communities is a half-hour walk away. Bus service to the Napa Valley wine country is available at the ferry terminal.

There are many vacant berths. Marina staff is available on weekdays but not weekends or holidays.

I've always stayed at the Vallejo Yacht Club right next door, but the Municipal Marina looks good and it was recently dredged. If you don't have a car, it could be a little hard because that area is somewhat isolated, but Lyft is your friend there and the ferry is within easy walking distance.

Thanks! Last time I was down there, the marina had loads of empty berths and looked well maintained.
