Seawater Pro Water Maker

We've installed a 12V 27 gallon Seawater Pro water maker. All has been going well for a couple of weeks, but yesterday it developed a 'hammer' in the line from the 5 micron filter to the main pump. Today it is a lot louder. Any hammering in a water system would be bad for the system, so does any one have any ideas as to how to correct the problem? It is still making water.

Re: Seawater Pro Water Maker

a week and no one replied

I don't know. But I would suggest starting with clean pre filters, inlet strainer, and clear thur inlet, and ensuring that the booster pump is providing very good flow to ensure the HP pump isn't getting starved.
