Hi - looking to liveaboard in San Diego on a slipped vessel. Likely starting early 2025. Will be working in the area for undefined period. Professional, responsible, and clean. One person. Looking for something cozy and comfortable. Any guidance would be super helpful.

Moorage is expensive on the west coat and liveaboard approval can take 1-10yr. People that go thru all the hassle are doing it for themselves though there might be 1 or 2 that would rent their boats and slips out. Better to advertise locally than here.
In San Diego you have an an unusual opportunity, San Diego Mooring company which rents moorings and I believe you can liveaboard. That means you need to get boat.

There isn’t much slip availability for live aboards. Maybe down in National City or Chula Vista but most I know are sneak aboards.

The OP doesn't even own a boat. He's looking to rent a cheap waterfront apartment in a place where everybody is looking for a cheap waterfront aparment. Good luck to him
