I wasn't planning on buying one for a couple of months anyways, I liked this one a lot so I made a play for it that didn't work out.

All it really means is I have more time which isn't a bad thing.

I've been doing a bit of plotting and scheming as well trying to figure out how I can get my hands on a Leopard 47 catamaran, starting to see some of them in the sub 300,000.00 range, if I really threw myself after it for the next year I could probably manage to buy one and pay it off.

All just thoughts right now, not committing to anything yet.

And I won't have that cash on hand until I sell the truck, if I was to buy it right now id not be able to paint the truck and take care of a few of the things it needs and thus it would be very hard to sell.

I threw up the one option I had to make it happen now, that didn't work for him, so there is nothing else I can really do right now.

While I could buy the boat right now, if I lost an engine or transmission, rear end or anything like that, id be committing financial suicide.

That is just the way it is, I really like the boat, id like to have it but if your dad doesn't like my plan of how to get it done, that is the only offer I can make right now.

If he still has it towards the end of the summer we can talk again.

Well in other news, I just joined the Libertarian party.

Well back to work, spent a week and a half at the house, got a ton of work done to my truck (spent 9 grand working on it!!!)

The first nice weather of the year always seems to have the little projects you have been waiting all winter to finish out.

Left yesterday, loaded up this afternoon headed to Denver. Short little run but it will get me started in building the bank account back up.



Hopefully I can get permits in quick so I can deliver Friday and find something else to move.

Getting motivated now, its so nice having the new doors on, I Can see so much better out of them, and it is much quieter in the cab with out the air whistling in around the bad seals.

Going to put it down hard the next few weeks and get as much money made as possible, going run until the last week in june and split my time between Seattle and home for the big 4th of July Rodeo, hoping to get a sailing class in while I am in Seattle, we will see.

I am out in Hermiston Oregon, what a beautiful day, the temperature is perfect, there is little wind, the cloud cover is constant making it not too bright, its just a beautiful day.

Coming up the Colombia river gorge seeing the boats out there on the water was driving me crazy wanting to be out there. I wound up stopping at the rest area in the Dalles for a bit, found a bench to sit on and just enjoyed the spring air and the scent of the pine trees.

Way too nice of a day to be working!
