Recommendations for Cruising Blogging software?

Hi
Wife and I have finally, 'nearly' sold our house.. and plan to rid ourselves of all worldly possessions, get a boat and head off into Blue Water...
We wanted to start and write a blog that would record our life afloat, include or many pending learnings.. and document our route on a map.
Does anyone have good suggestions for a web system to do this? Is there anything other than the usual WordPress... better geared up for Sailor types?
Cheers
P

We use Joomla at SailQuest.ca.
We have a map that shows where each post is posted.
We have an app on my tablet that I can make my posts directly on.
I have always preferred Joomla for all my websites, but that's just me.

The new owners of our previous boat use https://my.yb.tl/maggiedrum/

It provides an "automatic" chart of your travels and you can enter posts with pictures tied to the various locations. We used blogger.com and were happy with its standard features but it did not (at that time) have any link to our location built in. You can put in links to any other website where that can be handled.

There are many others I am not too familiar with.
