Re: PLEASE POST YOUR MARINA COST

Honokohau Harbor, Kailua-Kona, HI, The Big Island $158.15 for a 37' slip, Med. Tie to a buoy, includes water but nothing else. State owned marinas are quite inexpensive but waiting lists very long. Took me 5 years to get my slip.

Oceanside Harbor, Oceanside, CA $14 a foot includes water and electricity with fingers, live aboard extra. Short waiting list for under 29' boat but years long list for longer boats unless you buy a boat already in a slip.

Re: PLEASE POST YOUR MARINA COST

I wont post our price for two reasons 1) I don't want to make other jealous and; 2) I don't want to see an influx of people at our marina.
Docks are 5 years old, waters free, power is extra.

Re: PLEASE POST YOUR MARINA COST

~ $125/month with power, 10 miles south of Annapolis. It is rather shallow and no frills, but where else could I afford a slip 22' wide?

Multihulls and powerboats and very small monos.

And some places on the Rio even have houses with docks for rent for less than you would pay for just a slip in many places....WAY less than some! [emoji16]

Given that the OP started this enquiry, I think he now has an obligation to capture all this data in a spreadsheet! [emoji6]

Re: PLEASE POST YOUR MARINA COST

Several people have posted widely different prices per foot with no indication of duration.

If quoting per foot, can you please say whether these are daily/weekly/monthly/annual rates?

I have a 10m x 3.1m berth at the North Queensland Cruising Yacht Club in Bowen, North Queensland, Australia, which I will happily rent to you for AUD$500 / month including electricity, water, conveniences, security and, if you are a nice person, you can live aboard as well.

Something tells me the OP is a troll. He has started 3 obvious newbie threads (nothing wrong with being a newbie). But when asked for more info, he hasn't come back or added to the thread.

Look on the bright side, it has been an interesting conversation and I have had another opportunity to tell people that I have a berth available for AUD$500/month.

Re: PLEASE POST YOUR MARINA COST

Been in the same marina for 24 years, it's gone up. I pay $15/mo total. The place is falling apart, but it's a deal and close to great sailing.

Re: PLEASE POST YOUR MARINA COST

I was paying 110 usd per month for a slip ( free electricity when it worked ) on lake tenkiller (eastern oklahoma ) until a tornado rolled it up into a wadded up mess. Now my mastless catalina 27 sits on a trailer at my farm rent free.

Other marinas in western Arkansas and eastern oklahoma run between 100 and 150 per month. The cost is not generally length dependent. The boats stay in the water year around. I plan to stay at lake dardanelle when I get her back going as it is close to home and is on the Arkansas river which gives gulf/ocean access.

Thx-Ace

Yeah it has lost a lot of its previous charm, but glad to see the construction dollars.
