Our first week aboard

This has beeen quite a week. We had the movers last Sat., moved the rest of our things on Sunday.
Jim got ready to go to work on Monday, no pants, just shorts.
So a quick trip to our storage area and he was ready for work.
After many loads of laundry, and moving lots of piles of papers, I fet we were making some progress.
The dog and cat are settling in just fine. The dog thinks this is great. She gets lots of walks and can sit outside all day long. The cat has found new hiding spots, but has no interst in leaving the aft cabin.
I have found out it is possible to cook dinner with out every size pan. Lots less mess!!
Our daughter has found the bus stop, and has enjoyed dingy rides in the afternoon.
The dog likes to go with, she looks very cute in her yellow life jacket.
This will truly be an adventure.

Please keep writing about your move into and onto the new boat. How is life changing for you? We have a 9 year old. This will be a big adjustment for him as well as us. We are taking the plunge, this summer. I've been looking at boats for a while now. I have enjoyed your stories about moving aboard.
