As mentioned, you don't have too many options for year-round
liveaboard around Toronto, and it's not a trivial undertaking, with low temperatures and ice to contend with.
Best bet is to call around. There's sort of a live-aboard/"floating house" community on the Toronto Islands. I know that some clubs allow a few liveaboards, but you have to be a
member and there's usually a waiting list for slips. I don't know of any marinas that allow it.
