Hello all,
I am looking for a good worldwide
offshore (think:
Atlantic ocean crossing and Arctic expedition 150 nmi north-west of Svalbard) travel (if medical-only it's ok, but preferably trip cancellation-personal items-etc. as well)
insurance for nautical crew. I will be
crewing on sailboats (not professionally, just leisure) and am having trouble finding a good one. I'm Italian, 32, no
medical conditions.
In the next 2-3 months I will always be close to land, I am going with True Traveller for that period, they seem reputable on TrustPilot, but later on I need more coverage (see activities above), and TT has this important general exclusion: "4. Taking part in expeditions or the
crewing of a vessel more than 60 miles from a safe haven." So I can only take TT for coastal cruising, as a matter of fact.
I am welcoming any kind of suggestions, so as to inquire in the small print of each possible candidate whether they would be good for me.
Really hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance for any help!
Elio
