Odin wills it?

So life and mental health issues have come to a head for me.I have been asked to leave my place of residence, for reasons I shan't go into here.

This speeds up my decision to liveaboard my wharram tiki 26 by about two years. I recieve a small pension and other than that I have few belongings of real value to speak of.

It seems to the breach i must go, I am looking forward to it.

Salti.. how did you construct your centre deck.. is it with the seats or did you go for a flat deck.
Reason I ask is that on my 21 I used a 2 man dome tent and an air bed when anchored for a while.. one of those quick assemble jobs (15 mins) and slept in there.. one hull was storage and galley.. the other head and bunk.. rarely used as it was like a coffin..
On a 26 lifes better with more room in the hulls but that extra bit of comfort would be great.. nowadays you can get these which are even simpler..
Could not do it on my 26 as it was yard built with seats.

Re: Odin wills it?

I have the seats for now mate, the cockpit is big enough for me to stretch out in.Someone posted on this site about using canvas painters dropsheets as a deck tent,I use this and it works a treat.

Re: Odin wills it?

The pleasures of sailing and cruising are many. I found cruising calming and to be a 'castaway' on a small cat, lost somewhere between Cairns and Darwin ... well, many of us can only dream about it!

If your life took a turn and this turn took you to the water edge ... it is apparently your sailing time. Look ahead, enjoy what there is, cruising life IS good.
