New to liveaboards

Hi everyone!

1. I'm new to this group and have been interested in a sailing course via a liveaboard experience. My partner and I purchased a course a little while ago, but have since realized we may want to start off learning a bit differently.
Any recs for people new to this activity/lifestyle? Would love any blogs, video, etc.

2. Does anyone have thoughts on where I could try selling this liveaboard experience? The dates are December 13-20, 2025 in the Grenadines through Nautilus Sailing. We'd be open to providing a discount to make sure it doesn't go to waste!

Thanks in advance 🙂

In my opinion the best way to learn about sailing - is go sailing. I find most of the blogs/video's and the like are not overly useful for beginning learning. once you have some level of knowledge, then they can be much more useful.

regarding point 2 - did you ask Nautilus Sailing if they can give you a refund? At least partial refund which may be as much as you'd get trying to sell it anyway. It's still a fair bit of time before the event so they may give you a refund.

Good luck,

dj
