New sailing movie out on youtube

Hope you get chance to sit and watch this movie .
But I definitely think " pirates of the care free being " is one of the best sailing , real life , feel good movies out their .
It's toured the world at film festivals and now for a limited time only it's on YouTube .
I reckon it knocks the socks off" hold fast " so if you liked that in the slightest you'll like this .

I quickly clicked through it. Not so interesting. New-age hippies drinking on a boat. Ho hum. At least they mentioned Bob Bitchin' in the closing notes. Bob's movie was very cool!

I thoroughly enjoyed the video. It just goes to show that you don't need to spend a fortune on a boat and equipment and years "getting ready" to go cruising. They are learning as they go and having a ball. Good for them!
Naturally, this will piss off a lot of old folks who can't stand seeing young people having the kind of fun they wish they had had at that age, but that is to be expected....

Sorry, not impressed. Bunch of scamming stoners. Watched the first 18 min, and got bored. And before I hear about being a jealous old guy blah, blah, blah- did my first transpac at 24, AND I was a stoner and chasing a dream- but I new what I was doing.

Same here. Glad I'm not alone. I did all of that, and I still do. I'm not old. Ho hum. Maybe not boring to Brazilians. What's up with the Internet generation? Us real Americans do it, enjoy it, and think nothing of it. No need to make a movie about it, then shove it up on the Net. So many people now looking for their place in the YouTube sun. Crikey! It's a youtube video. No one is "shoving it up on the Net" and making you watch it. Just a bunch of young people enjoying life, learning about traveling by sailboat, fixing the boat as they go and having fun. I thought it was quite nice to see. Too many young people today spend their time sitting in front of computers and TVs, texting on their phones and wasting most of their life chasing consumer goods they don't need. What exactly is it about these guys that rubbed you the wrong way?

You enjoyed it? Found it thrilling? Great. I found it boring. Seen it all, a million times. Do I need to see it again on the Net? Nope. Why did I comment? Because I belong to this forum and sometimes read the threads, and the OP stated "Please let me know what you think.", so I did. That's all. Off topic, is "crikey" British slang? Aussie slang? I never heard it once in America. I think I heard it on the original Crocodile Dundee movie.
