Need help bringing parts from Vancouver

Hi There. We are stuck in Mazatlan, Mexico needing an Isuzu engine part from Vancouver (or Seattle). Are there any of you cruisers driving or flying down to Mazatlan or Puerto Vallarta in the next few days (today is Dec 6th 2016) who could carry this part with them?

We would ship it to you in Canada or the States. Until then we have no means to run the engine unfortunately.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Contact Downwind Marine in San Diego. They might be able to facilitate getting parts to you, particularly via other cruisers coming south.

Re: Need help bringing parts from Vancouver

Hi Barry. Thanks so much for the reply and interest in helping. We have a friend arriving by plane on the 17th as well and she is ready to help, but I am looking for options to get it here sooner if possible. When do you leave SK?.

Thanks and have a great day. (Is your boat in Mazatlan now? What is her name?)

Re: Need help bringing parts from Vancouver

Yes, it is there. I bought it this summer and doing a retrofit on it now.

It has the name Current on it but it's new name is Adamo, an Acapulco 40.

I'm leaving here on the evening of the 12th from Regina. I'm stopping in Plentywood early in the morning of the 13th to pick up parts that I had drop shipped there.

I will have room as long as it's not the block!

One of my parts is going to be late so I may have it drop shipped to a UPS store in Nogales AZ for pick up prior to crossing. I will be there the 15th or so.

A couple of options for you..
