My Wife Loves Candles....
I told her life on a boat would make buring candles ill advised.
She has started to come to grips with this, but
Is there anyway she can enjoy them safely?
Keep in mind we have two large dogs and a cat.
Ideas? I want to give her this privilege.

Yep, some led candles are scented with timers. I have one in the head, turn the timer on at bedtime, acts as a night light.

Glad I am not alone in this fear/issue/whatever it is. I am looking to find/make some sort of lantern for her to use. She won't like LED candles.

Re: My wife loves candles....
What i saw in a photo was a large lantren that was suspended above the table, and teathered to the table as well. Though it might fit her candles.
She is a yankee candle fan. Took her to the village for her birthday!
Its something she enjoys so much, and she has been very cool with giving it up, that i cannot let her.
And fear, yes. Propane leak, sudden gale, massive wake, or my one derpy dog chasing the cat. I would hate to lose my home over an open flame.

Re: My wife loves candles....
We have a lantern and burn only lamp oil (parafin). Have it swinging from a hook. At first the wife was not thrilled with it being paranoid of having a flame but now she likes the mood it sets. The lantern swinging also enhances the mood.
