I love that one. It just means they haven't been in a big enough sea in a small enough boat yet!

I've seen a whole ship load of experienced sailors sick after going up and down in the same spot in the Southern Ocean for three days. Even the dog was spewing.

Then why can I pick them up with the magnet I carry to assess just this.......

That's not a lie, more a misunderstanding by both parties of what grade of stainless the particular fasteners are made from.

Usually said when you are just about to head out through PPH or Chacao or somesuch.

I now force the pill into their mouth and hold their nose and mouth shut until they swallow... just like worming a dog.......

So you say but some of us really don't. Perhaps it's an inner ear problem we have but I don't. I can fly an aerobatic airplane in any configuration you can think of and not feel weird at all. I have never been even slightly upset at sea.

Why do people say that? Is it a given that everybody becomes seasick? I can't help but think it's those who do get seasick can not imagine such a thing, too bad, sorry for your weakness

Often said by crew:

"I'm a good cook."

"Willing to learn"

I found out the meaning of "mañana" while commissioning my yacht in Spain.

It means "not today". It seldom means "tomorrow"

My mother is the same way. I find you people very annoying, my mother especially because she wasn't gracious enough to pass that gene along to me, very selfish of her

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

in a lot of couple's defense though a constant state of arguing is normal and to them it is just regular conversation, so by their standards they are just talking.

Why do we say it? Because we are jealous of you b*st*rds with cast iron stomachs and there's an old saying that "misery loves company".
