I love that one. It just means they haven't been in a big enough sea in a small enough boat yet!

I've seen a whole ship load of experienced sailors sick after going up and down in the same spot in the Southern Ocean for three days. Even the dog was spewing.

That's not a lie, more a misunderstanding by both parties of what grade of stainless the particular fasteners are made from.

Usually said when you are just about to head out through PPH or Chacao or somesuch.

So you say but some of us really don't. Perhaps it's an inner ear problem we have but I don't. I can fly an aerobatic airplane in any configuration you can think of and not feel weird at all. I have never been even slightly upset at sea.

Why do people say that? Is it a given that everybody becomes seasick? I can't help but think it's those who do get seasick can not imagine such a thing, too bad, sorry for your weakness
