No, Lauralee is right... we're also here in
greece. it is REAALY tough even for me who cooks all the time to justify it vis a vis expense vs a restaurant. There's a place a few min walk from the beach, a proper nice taverna (not a street
food stall) that will
grill you up what looks like a 1 inch x 8 inch diameter swordfish for 10 bucks, impossible for one person to finish. At the fishmonger that
fish would cost 20 min. and not include veggies,
fuel or time. Their other dishes are equally ridiculous, 6 bucks for a double breast grilled chicken with sides, etc. 2 -3 person portions
sold as 1. Last night elsewhere we got 4 big pork pita gyros with all the fixings for 2.50 each. 10 bucks dinner for 3 and we were stuffed. It's crazy around here if you look hard enough
