Not just food! My wife saw a 200 count package of paper napkins in Exuma Market for $12. She bought similar at Publix in Ft. Lauderdale for $3.00 and it was BOGO so she got two for $3.

That's a pretty good month, even with the dinghy and the Loos gauge!
Thanks for posting.

How about paper towels? Cheap, no brand name $24 for a pack of six rolls, or over $5 for one.
But, it’s why you bring everything with you.
In actuality because we brought almost everything, you can sail anywhere, cause there is always wind, our costs have been well less than $2,000 a month.
However that is cost shifting, we spent before we left.

Once again, thank you! Planning a budget is difficult, good to see what actual expenses are.

Well, the blow out on the RIB was a sucky deal but stuff like that happens. Right? You've had some good months, too. Thanks for continuing to post. We're one year, ten months, and 20 days behind you.

Re: Month 31 Expenses of Cruising and Living on the Boat
Sorry for your loss SB! Of what age was the deceased RIB?
From what I'm reading here on CR, RIBs are dying at an astounding rate these days. I have always owned hard dinghies but am lured by the aluminum RIB and their stability. It's difficult for me to lay down 4 or 5 grand on something that can go "BOOM"
Hope your steaks arrive in time to avoid another day of cat food .
As always thanks for providing your Monthly expense accounting!
Jim

Month 31 Expenses of Cruising and Living on the Boat
The second picture, the Viva is sold one roll at a time, for $5.49
You have to buy 6 rolls to get the $4 a roll price

Love your budget stuff and the fact that you're revealing all of the bad along with the good . . makes it more real for those of us who haven't "jumped" yet . . . thanks again for all your accounting issues. Hope all is well. If you get over to the Nature Coast (Homosassa/Crystal River) give a holler and we'll throw a couple of rib-eyes on the grill and treat you like you deserve. Take care.

Well I don't really know where that is and you need to promise to treat “ok” as “like you deserve” is, well maybe scary :-(

I just want to make sure but is the spreadsheet you provided just your expenses or what you are using to track a budget?
