Upon the recommendation of a Brazilian friend, I tried the good old men's thong. Yep, just like the ladies version only a bit "manlier" (not sure what that means!). Lightweight silky fabric with a near commando feel. I too was worried about that butt-crack thing, but after a few days, I stopped noticing it altogether. Best news of all, my lady finds it sexy as hell! Anyone who wants to give me crap about being some kind of a sissy can get in line for a good ol' a$$ kicking from this very manly man. Besides, whose business is it if one just wishes to be comfortable. Lots of options on Amazon. Just be sure to get one with a big enough "pouch" to keep the boys in place without binding.

This has been a great thread, loving it as a slight aside from the usual CF threads.
One more observation - on our boat we have a no-underwear policy that my wife and I diligently follow. When we explain the rule to guests you’d be amazed at the number of women who remove their bras!
