Marinas on Mississippi Gulf Coast

Looking for marina recommendations for a longer term marina on the Mississippi coast. Can anyone local give advice regarding security, ease of access, facilities, water depth, etc. 46' monohull with nearly 5 foot of draft. Not live aboard.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Marinas on Mississippi Gulf Coast

I keep my boat in the Gulfport Municipal Marina. The approach depth and harbor depth is no less than 8' at lowest water. The marina is pretty new with concrete pilings and can accommodate some pretty large craft. Has clean showers /bathrooms and laundry facilities. It also has dockside pumpout, and a fuel dock. The security I've always felt was excellent and the staff is very helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. It is one of the most expensive marinas on the coast tho, but worth it when compared to others. I have a 37' foot Pearson and I think my slip comes to about $260 a month after taxes. (30amp power and water included)

Re: Marinas on Mississippi Gulf Coast

We spent a month in the Gulfport marina enroute from Texas to Florida, and also had a good experience. Very reasonable rates, and staff was great.
