I've stayed at every marina listed above in this thread except Crackerboy's and I'd probably like that one too. All of these are good choices and there are more!

Ortega River Marina. 13.50 per foot liveaboard rate water included, $50 flat for unmetered power. Pool, community grill/gazebos, shower houses all less than 1 year old. Unofficial hurricane hole. On site laundry, walk to Publix grocery, West Marine, Radio Shack, 2 banks, Belk, several restaurants. Courtesy bikes, monthly potluck, no one minds if you work on your boat in the slip. Floating docks, very well protected. Awesome mgmt

Which of these marinas have the best access to the ocean? Least number of bridges, shorter run, decent depth, etc.
