marina del sol kemah vs bayland marina

Which of the two should I choose for my Catalina 27. I understand bayland is pretty much new being rebuilt after it was wiped out but does del sol have better amenities and is del sol much more expensive

Bayland was wiped out during Ike, marina del sol only lost a few docks. The facilities at marina del sol are older as are the docks, and not really the best maintained, but suitable for the purpose. For me, living closer marina del sol, and del so being closer to everything else wins hands down. If I lived in baytown I'd go to bayland.

Thanks the location had me leaning toward marina del sol but someone told me bayland was nice. I'm not to picky on the way a place looks if it does its job that's fine by me.

I am in Legends Point, directly across from West Marine , we have about 10 liveaboards on my dock. Its the only Marina in the area that has Comcast right to your boat. 39.95 per month. Slip rates are cheap, the docks are fixed , not floating , but the price is right.

Did you check out Seabrook Marina? Nice covered skips, great facility.

The thing is I was actually planning on staying on it as a temporary live aboard to save some money but the only Marina that will allow that size liveaboard is bayland. I think Seabrook is 30 ft min..
