Maestro 35 liveaboard?

My wife and I are looking at a Maestro 35 but I can find very little information on it or it's Volvo Penta D4 diesel.

Does anyone have or know of this vessel? We love the spaciousness and layout of the cabin but the engine appears a little suspect. This is all pre-survey and we have not even seen it under way yet so we have lot's of time to consider other boats, too.

We had a Volvo Penta 75 hp something-or-other. 1979. Could. Not. Get. Parts. Swapped out for a Yanmar. Husband did it with some help. Big job, but I'm glad we did it.

Thanks. The VP in question looks beat and may need a serious refit or even replacement. I'll look at Yanmars.
