Hello all,
I've been trying to reach some older sailing friends whose last position report on Feb 4 2015 is anchored next to Racoon Cay north of Ragged Island in the
bahamas. Before that, they spent new years in
Georgetown, Exuma. If anyone has seen them recently and knows of there
current situation I'd appreciate hearing from you.
The
boat is a dark blue
hull, white topsides, 49 foot Ta Ching (sp?),
center cockpit called Windsong, home port
Newport RI.
SSB call sign is KK4LIQ and the couple's names are Jim and Jean Jacobs, both in their early 70's.
We like to think that they are both ok, but when you don't hear a peep, you start to wonder.
Dominican Republic,
Haiti and
Cuba are all possible destinations along the 'thorny path' or possibly direct to
Cuba.
Thanks
Jim
