looking for a liveaboard slip in Maryland deep enough for our boat

Awesome info guys.

So far, only MD Yacht Club has replied to my query about slips and only White Rock to my query about yards.

To be fair to Oak Harbor - they are pretty much cutting edge 1986 tech - no website, no email address that works...lol I gotta call them on the phone.

I've got emails out to others (Anchorage, Parkside marina, Maryland marina, and Bowleys Marina) and have decided to arbitrarily focus on Pasadena, Baltimore, and Middle River just to make it more manageable to search and contact marinas and yards.

My son lives on board at Lighthouse Point in inner harbor Baltimore and loves it. Great security, parking garage, pool, bar, West Marine, and lots of restaurants very near buy. The can haul at Balt. Marine Center. Also hauling not too far at Anchor Bay East in Dundalk.

We really enjoyed our time living aboard at Castle Harbor Marina, on the eastern shore of Maryland, in Chester. Nice laundry, showers, docks and clubhouse for BBQs and get togethers with other cruisers. The price at the time was 1/2 the price of marinas on the wester (Annapolis/ Baltimore) side.

Herrington Harbour North in Deale is fantastic. Great yard and services, 62 acres of wooded beauty and a wonderful, friendly staff.

I've kept a boat at Anchorage in a previous life and have been back as a transient. Nice facilities and friendly staff. Can vouch for them. I'd consider them first- grocery across the street, lots of bars/restaurants within walking distance. Bus stop nearby and easy walk into inner harbor. BMC is nearby for work also.

Old Bay did some work for me years ago, work was decent and reasonable.

Good luck- would love to bring a boat back to Baltimore, A great little city....

Spent several years at Maryland Yacht Club as live aboard. Swan 46 with 8.4 foot draft. Really nice facilities and much less than Annapolis.

Transients come in and out of Anchorage Marina all the time. I meet people sailing from allover. Call the office 410-522-7200

I am from Austin Tx and currently in Annapolis until Oct 1 as well.

I had a slip at Henderson's Wharf and it was pretty ok. Old docks but whatever.

Just got a slip at Pier 7 for the season. Nice but a little pricey. They definitely have enough water at low tide.

Have some friends at Horn Point and they love it there.

Hartage also would be a good deal as they have a yard as well.

Liberty Marina has a yard. Older docks and a far walk to the bathroom. They have a pool if COVID ever calms down.

Hauls are gonna be a little more money around Annapolis. My last haul was at Deckelmans in Middle River. They cater more towards powerboats but are nice people. I called White Rock about hauling my boat but was told water level wasn't ideal.
