Liveaboard Rentals

Hello.
Has anyone heard of people renting a live-aboard in the bay area? We are both relatively green to sailing and would like to get our feet wet as we look for the right boat to purchase.

are you talking the SF bay area? If so, I have a friend in Berkeley who might be interested in leasing his liveaboard for the next year.

PM me with some details about your situation, and I'll pass the information along. Please don't expect an immediate response.

Re: Liveaboard Rentals

Hello Bash,
My wife and I are relocating to San Francisco where I grew up. We are looking for a live-aboard in Berkely as she will teach there soon and I want to attend sailing school. If this situation is still available please let me know or pass along to your friend. My e-mail is trautman777@gmail.com
Thank you,
D

Re: Liveaboard Rentals

I'm in the process of nailing down a boat to live on, but am hoping to get my feet wet, before pulling the trigger. Is there anyone in the Seattle area interested in possibly renting their boat out for 1-4 weeks so I can try out the lifestyle? I'd be willing to cover slip/moorage fees for the month. Feel free to PM me or email me directly: wil.kilcup@gmail.com
Thanks =)
