Live Aboard in Milwaukee Wisconsin

I'm planning about living aboard in Milwaukee or a near by city.
Is there any one that knows a Marina where I can live aboard (on the water) During the winter months?

You probably won't find one. The only one in the Chicago area is Hammond.

Canal St. Marina on the Chicago River (about 2 miles from the Chicago Locks) has a few boats wintering in the water. They may accept a live aboard, just not sure. I do know of a houseboat that does liveaboard nearby.

That is really sad, will be hard to save money then, that was my intention of living aboard.

Get a cheap stealthy van for sleeping in, just use as a hard tent.

Visit your the boat you're not living on very frequently for cooking, showers etc.

A gym membership also a good idea.

CheapRVliving.com for specific howTo advice.
