Live aboard

Hello. I’m looking for a long term rental liveadboard in the St. Augustine, FL area as my primary living space for just me and my dog. Any help would be awesome.

Re: Live aboard

I never have heard of a long term rental live aboard other than a houseboat. But who knows and this gives your thread a bump.

Re: Live aboard

You may need to get rid of the dog. The hair from dogs and women clog the bilge.

Re: Live aboard

Lol. It’s either the dog or her...I’m going with the dog...

Seriously, I had some buddies about 30 years ago that lived on a Navy Officers boat year round. Nothing big and they couldn’t take it out. It was basically just an apartment on water for them. But man it was relaxing just to hang out and have a beer.

Thanks! I’m hoping I can find something. Don’t have the money right now to buy my own or I would.

Re: Live aboard

I live with my dog ^ I can care less if some scratches end up on my sole haha. I own my boat though and if your renting that may be a problem.

OP be patient. A deal will come. Maybe a rent to own might come up? This is how I got my first boat. We made a legal contract, no problems.

I don’t know how it is in Florida but there’s great lives boards popping up left and right here in Vancouver. I’ve seen projects for great prices, if your not scared of getting dirty
