HI as anyone left their boat or spent extended time during the hurricane season at the Le Phare Bleu Marina in Grenada? if so, what was your experience.

did you use Guardenage at all?

Re: Le Phare Bleu Marina Grenada

We know many who leave their boats in Grenada. We have not. We leave ours in Chaguaramas,Trinidad at Power Boat. We generally spend three to eight weeks in Trinidad living on the boat. The yard is very safe and patrolled. There is lots to do and many fun tours and bike rides to take. You can have an AC fitted to a hatch and plug in for hurricane season. We have Roxy fitted with a canopy and a walk up stairs, very convenient.

Chaguaramas is totally out of the hurricane zone. Even so, there are tie down available. The yard has a high fence with razor wire on top. The gate is manned 24hours. There is a golf cart roving security. You will find many competent trades and almost any task can be done. You may also do your own work. There are several chandleries in walking range and group shopping taxi rides into town for hardware groceries and fresh market.

Re: Le Phare Bleu Marina Grenada

It is pretty open to the south. Gets some surge even without a storm. I believe they have some backup "hurricane" moorings that they use during a hurricane.
