We know many who leave their boats in Grenada
. We have not. We leave ours in Chaguaramas,Trinidad at Power Boat
. We generally spend three to eight weeks in Trinidad living on the boat
. The yard is very safe and patrolled. There is lots to do and many fun tours and bike rides to take. You can have an AC fitted to a hatch
in for hurricane
season. We have Roxy fitted with a canopy and a walk up stairs, very convenient.
Chaguaramas is totally out of the hurricane zone. Even so, there are tie down available. The yard has a high fence with razor wire on top. The gate is manned 24hours. There is a golf cart roving security
. You will find many competent trades and almost any task can be done. You may also do your own work
. There are several chandleries in walking range and group shopping
taxi rides into town for hardware
groceries and fresh market.
