Just dropping by for a shameless plug

Hello

I've been a member here for quite a while, but I'm mostly a lurker. I'm more active on the Trawler Forum sister site, being more of the mechanically propelled persuasion.

Anyhow, I've been living aboard for about a year now, and I've been keeping a blog. I know when I was dreaming about doing this sort of thing, I devoured other folks' blogs with a ravenous appetite. I thought perhaps I could pay that forward, and invite anyone who might be interested to come and have a read.

www.mvsylphide.com

Or not, that's okay too. I know you're busy these days, and hey, I don't make any money on it or anything. You look really nice today, by the way.

Nice looking boat. Where do you keep the sails?

Thank you! I don't actually own any, I'm afraid. The mast is mostly there to confuse people, and to make bridges difficult.

Re: Just dropping by for a shameless plug

Hello all you interesting and intelligent young people. I've shamelessly plugged my blog here before, but it's been a while, and my site has been completely rebuilt since then. It's much more pleasant to navigate and look at now, and there's also some new content, which you may find interesting or entertaining.

Of course it's entirely possible that you might not find it interesting or entertaining. You might hate it. You might hate it so much that you find yourself in an obsessive spiral, losing touch with your friends and family, neglecting your pets and your career and your cactus garden, wearing your fingers down to bloody stumps by smashing them into the keys of your laptop, desperately trying to track down where I live, so that you can slap me in the face with a dead fish until I agree to stop writing.

Either way, If you're bored and looking to cruise vicariously through someone else, stop on over to www.mvsylphide.com

I hope you have yourself a marvelous day

You have left me no choice but to check out your blog, as soon as I clean the rum I spilled all over the laptop from laughing so hard.

Now where did I leave that dead fish?
