Internet for working from home liveaboard (Ireland)

Hi

Could anyone help with an internet booster solution for working from home for a boat?

I'm tethering from my phone (Gomo and 3 mobile) but was looking for some solutions to fix a booster from the mast.

Would also like to travel on and work from the boat in Europe and possibly Caribbean.

Any solutions or reccomendations would be great.

Thank you

Will

Starlink. We’ve been using it for 3 months. Texas to Panama.

Buy local data Sim cards, we did this in France & Spain. Approx 20€ a month for 150GB.
Italy is similar.
Portugal was 35€ for unlimited 4G data.
Networks are great along the coast. No booster needed.

The same might work in the Caribbean, especially in the French, Dutch, British or US associated islands.

Further out, as above, Starlink, but at much higher cost.

That 50Gb is just the priority. You will have unlimited non priority. So far I can't tell the difference while we were in the Bahamas or in south Florida. We normally use around 700 to 800Gb a month for two teleworkers.

$150/mo for a regional roam program with unlimited data (well I think really 2TB)

Start at the basic "roam" plan. No reason to switch to a different one till needed and most people don't work at same time as they travel across the black hex areas not covered
