Insurance cover in France
If I buy a boat afloat in France with no current survey, (yes, I know, but for little money) what are my options for insurance?
In the UK I'd go for the £3m third party liability until I could sort properly.

Do the VNF require proof of minimum cover?
Anyone with experience of surveys in France?
