pirate In Search of Cal Cruising 46 Owners Association

Hello
I bought my cal cruising 46 two yrs ago. As I understand Bill Lapworth and mr Jensen had built only 14 or 15 of these gems.

I have been searching for other owners of the original CC46 to share experiences, compare and to learn from each others

mine is gutted to bare hull in the early 80's and retrofitted to equal more modern boats with in mast furling, auto pilots, radar, vaccuflush heads etc etc.

I would like to just share experiences and stories and new gadgets etc

my email address: edwmama@yahoo.com
I am located in Marina del Rey CA

I have hull no 5

Edwin

Thumbs up Needs no fixing

Thx guys for the reply

actually there is nothing broken in myCC46

I amgetting it ready for an extended cruising to med and south pacific in 4 to 5 years. As such I would like to install a watermaker, solar cells and a wind generator. I recently replaced my inverter to a xantrex 3000 pure sign wave inverted so my 42 inch HD TV wont be damaged

I am also debating on an arch for a intellian satellite broadband Internet and satellite communication domes and other modern upgrades

theboat is built solid and has very little milage

curious what others have done
