Ice box conversion to cold plate

I am doing a complete refit of a '72 P33 and about to do a conversion of ice box. My 2 previous converts I used blue R5 from Home Depot. This was 15 yrs ago and my guess there are more efficient insulation on mkt.

Looking for input to do both inside and out of box....sacrificing box size. I am looking for efficiency.

Blue board is still the stuff. I just did this test and blueboard fared well.
